ASSIGNED MEMBER ID (TBD) or GUEST PASS ID REQUIRED TO RIDE TUE RIDES (NO EXCEPTIONS)​

All Members are required to have their INDIVIDUALLY ASSIGNED Member ID (TBD) in order to participate in Tuesday night rides, no exceptions. Band placement as follows:​​

Member Guests - Orr Road Cooperative Members in good standing are allowed to bring 1 guest to a Tuesday night ride starting in Apirl with the following restrictions:

Up to 2 guest invites total per Member for the 2025 season.​

Each individual guest may only attend up to 2 Tuesday night rides (inclusive of any Open House rides).
-
Member guests are required to complete the Orr Road Rider waiver prior to any respective Tuesday night ride start to participate (NO EXCEPTIONS).

No Member guests during the Orr Road season's opening month (i.e. March 2025)

NO Member Administration is conducted at ride venues (i.e. registrations, waivers, Member bands, guest sign-ups, etc.), EXCEPT Member pre-approved/registered Guest rider band pickup/return.

GENERAL ORR ROAD COOPERATIVE RULES
​
- Respect other riders and be safe, there is no money on the line here.
- Helmets must be worn at all times! No exceptions.
- No use of tri bars or extensions in the group.
- Riders are to ensure their bike is in good working order for intense riding conditions.
- Use of earphones or other audio devices that would interfere with rider and group safety is prohibited during rides.
- Ride consistent lines, no erratic riding. Be obvious with your intentions and moves.
- Don’t cross wheels or stuff yourself into gaps.
- If you are at the front of the group, you are responsible for keeping the ride smooth & safe
- Minimize vocalizations during the ride. Yelling only serves to increase angst in the group.
- No horse play like hand slings etc. There are less experienced riders out here.
- No public urination. Please use designated area.
- Use a towel for changing as public nudity also does not help our relationship with the park tenants
- Keep it fun.

TUESDAY NIGHT VENUE RIDE RULES
​
Ride is run clockwise in General Commerce Center's inside lane (traffic in the outside lane follows normal counter-clockwise pattern):

COURSE BOUNDARY is marked by (in order of priority around the course):
-
Painted center lines/orange cones/enforcement line (existing road seam demarcation). For clarification, riders must stay INSIDE THE COURSE BOUNDARY. A rider is deemed outside the course boundary if they touch/cross onto a painted center line/orange cone/existing road seam demarcation:​

IF A RIDER GOES OUTSIDE or BREACHES THE COURSE BOUNDARY DURING A RIDE, REGARDLESS OF REASON, (INCLUDING TOUCHING A CONE), THEY MUST:​
-
NOT re-enter the course while the main bunch is still in proximity of the breaching rider, or in the case of a knocked down cone, rider must safely disengage from the group, and replace the cone.​​

IN EITHER CASE OF BREACHED BOUNDARY OR CONE KNOCKDOWN, THE OFFENDING RIDER MAY ONLY RETURN TO THE PELOTON:

AFTER the MAIN GROUP has made one full lap around the course without the offending Rider present, and
-
BEHIND THE LAST RIDERS OF THE MAIN GROUP, OR ANY TRAILING GROUP, and
-
When it is safe to do so, IN A SAFE MANNER, FROM THE DESIGNATED RE-ENTRY ZONE (2025 TBD). INTEGRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE NEXT TURN OR THE OFFENDING RIDER MUST WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT LAP TO ATTEMPT INTEGRATION.

Note: If the Course Boundary breach or cone knockdown is within the "+" number of laps after Timed period is reached for the respective ride, or the the Offending Rider cannot re-enter with the Main Group BEFORE the start of the "+" laps portion of the ride, the Offending Rider may not re-enter the ride/course until the ride is finished.

If you are dropped, and you wish to re-integrate into the group before 5 laps to go, please re-enter the ride from the designated re-entry zone (2025 TBD). Re-integration MUST BE AT THE BACK OF THE FIELD, BEFORE ENTRY INTO THE NEXT TURN (DO NOT INTEGRATE ON THE INSIDE OF ANY TURN).

NO COOLING DOWN/NON-INTEGRATING RIDING ON COURSE WHILE ANY RIDE IS IN PROGRESS! You must be an active part of the ride (In a break, in the main bunch, or actively chasing the main bunch).

​Dropped riders with 5 laps to go (or the "+" number of laps after Timed period is reached for the respective ride) may not re-enter the ride/course until the ride is finished.

To avoid confusion during the ride, dropped/retired riders please cool down outside of the course enclosure, but MAY NOT RIDE IN THE TRAFFIC LANE.

ENFORCEMENT OF RIDE RULES, MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT, AND CLUB POLICIES

1st infraction - Official warning of misconduct item.

2nd infraction - Restriction from next upcoming Orr Road Cooperative Ride
-
3rd infraction - Orr Road Cooperative committee review for disciplinary membership revocation.
